BACH FLOWER FORMULATIONS
Trish works with a system of 38 herbal remedies called the Bach Flower Remedies. The remedies were created by a British doctor named Edward Bach about 100 years ago. Each remedy is associated with a specific emotional pattern or mood. Bach Flower remedies are gentle and non-aromatic and can safely be administered to children in their diluted form. Your custom designed formulation will contain up to 7 remedies.
All herbal remedies are sourced from Nelsons in the UK, which has been appointed the honorary seal “By appointment to His Majesty the King”. This means that some of the same products suggested by Trish are used in the household of the Royal Family of the United Kingdom.
Although some Canadians may be new to the Bach Flower Remedies, they are very well known across Europe, having been used for the last 100 years in the UK alone. FLOWER REMEDIES FOR ANIMALS
Animals can experience stress which can contribute to mental and emotional imbalances in ways that are similar to humans. When animals face difficult situations such as isolation, fear, loss of a companion, poor living conditions, or constant exposure to threats, they may show signs of anxiety, low mood, or chronic stress. These issues can affect their behaviour, causing changes such as aggression, withdrawal, excessive grooming, loss of appetite, or repetitive actions. Research has shown that many animals have complex emotions and can be deeply affected by their environment and social relationships. Providing proper care, enrichment, social interaction, and a safe habitat is important for supporting the mental and emotional well-being of our pets.
Bach flower remedies can help to restore emotional balance in animals when dealing with behavioural issues, past trauma (such as in rescue animals) or other stressful situations. Lumen Self Analysis offers 30 minute pet sessions for cats and dogs. During these sessions, Trish will meet with the animal’s owner to discuss any ongoing mental and emotional concerns. During the session we will discuss your pet’s specific personality, daily habits, behaviour, situations that bring on stress and any previous traumas your pet may have experienced. A custom Bach flower remedy will then be designed for your pet to support mood and emotional balance. The remedy can then be administered to your pet by adding it to their water. Bach flower remedies can safely be administered to animals when made into a highly diluted custom blend (not directly from the stock bottle as the formulas contain alcohol as a preservative).
